I removed this breaker box post fire b4 demo.
From an old Eagle River small house from the 50s. Challenger Breakers, 60 to 100 amp service. It was set up to run 11 circuits plus a 240vac dryer outlet. (Small ranch style house) Mostly just lights and outlets, 12 and 14 gage, the dryer was 10 gage 240vac.
John in Eagle River by Fred Meyers 242-83two4 ak no.text is best for me.
I have the front panel and 4 screws, not pictured.
I removed the breakers to clean them up and test them. This box was in service until December of 25, so, just pulled a few weeks ago. I was told house was from 1956.
Make an offer, I have not set a price until I look those breakers over and clean them up.
I also have 18 feet of the feed cable which is a heavy (aluminum) cable 4 or 6 gage, it is at least 6 gage as the individual cables are 3/8" in diameter. Original cable I cut it at where it was burnt as the fire was by the meter.
It's 18 feet remaining.
Previously Grandfathered original equipment, probably not to code in the muni of Anchorage anymore, but maybe could be used for a cabin, shop, detached garage, shed or remote building off the grid driven by a generator or your idea.
(The 11 pigtails, which are pictured de-terminated are 5 bucks or come with the breaker box if you want them for inner box wiring. Short pcs.)
I still need to clean the breakers yet.
