We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join an insurance project in Tokyo. Japanese ability is preferred but not essential. Competitive Salary. Full-time, 12 month initial contract.
Requirements:
-5–6+ years of software development experience
-Strong Java / Spring Boot / Spring MVC experience
-Experience developing REST APIs / Microservices
-Frontend experience with Angular or React
-Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
-Strong SQL / database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server)
-Experience with Git, Maven, and Tomcat
-AWS experience, preferably S3, ECS, and RDS
-Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
-Experience with Docker and CI/CD is a plus
-Japanese language ability preferred, but not required
