We are looking for a Japanese language teacher in Sapporo.
We are a language teacher dispatch company. A company in Chuo-ku, Sapporo has asked us for in-person Japanese lessons for their staff.

(1) Lesson Information

Location: Chuo-ku, Sapporo, near Odori Station (at the company's office)
Nearest station: Odori Station (Namboku / Tozai / Toho Line), within walking distance
*We will tell you the exact address later.
Parking: not available
Students: 4 adults (one group), in their 30s-40s, from China
Language: Japanese
Level: beginner
Purpose: daily conversation
Course length: about 3 months (not guaranteed)
Lessons: 3 times a week, 2 hours per lesson
Days: weekdays (Monday - Friday)
Time: one of the following time slots
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
*The days and times are not fixed yet. Please tell us which weekdays and which time slots you can teach. We will suggest your schedule to the company.
*Lesson times and the number of lessons might change in the future. Not guaranteed.
Textbook: to be decided with the company at the trial lesson.
Start: around mid-November
Trial:
*There will be a trial lesson first.
*After the trial lesson, the company decides whether they continue or not.
Cancellation policy (very important):
*If you need to cancel a lesson, please contact the company directly at least one day (24 hours) before the lesson.
*If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, 8,800 yen (one 2-hour lesson) will be taken from your payment (except for typhoon, heavy snow, train delays, or sudden illness).
*If the company cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, you will receive the lesson fee.

(2) Terms (outsourcing contract, not employment)

1. Duration of contract: not fixed
2. Place: the place we assign
3. Position: language teacher
4. Lesson fee (paid by Free and Easy Co., Ltd.):
- Regular lessons: 4,400 yen per hour before withholding tax (8,800 yen per 2-hour lesson)
- Trial lesson: 3,000 yen per trial lesson (up to 1 hour) before withholding tax, plus transportation expenses
- 10.21% income tax will be withheld at source from your payment.
5. Transportation: we pay the actual round-trip fare, up to 2,000 yen per visit (for the whole round trip).
6. Closing day: last day of every month
7. Pay day: 15th of the next month (bank transfer)

- Living in Japan, in or near Sapporo
- A residence status that allows you to work in Japan (if you are not a Japanese citizen)
- Able to teach beginner Japanese in Japanese
