We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of grounds maintenance, horticulture, and all other aspects of commercial landscaping. As a key team leader, you will manage crews, coordinate landscaping tasks and ensure the successful completion of projects. This role requires outdoor work experience, proficiency with landscaping equipment, and the ability to supervise multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage landscaping crews on various projects, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Identify plants and horticultural elements to ensure proper landscape design and maintenance.
Operate equipment safely and effectively; operate company vehicles as needed for project transportation.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues promptly.
Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work fields.
Supervising experience with a track record of managing landscaping crews effectively.
Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices and grounds maintenance techniques.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
Leadership skills with the ability to manage team members efficiently while fostering a positive work environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution.
Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
Clean driving record and ability to obtain a dot medical card
Ability to pass a drug screening
Full time position Monday through Friday 730-4. Some Saturdays are required as needed based on weather conditions and project load.
