We’re a busy, 60‑seat neighborhood restaurant looking for a friendly, organized host/hostess to welcome guests and keep our dining room flowing smoothly. If you’re great with people and can juggle tables, last‑minute calls, and the occasional no‑show, you’ll fit right in.
What the job looks like:
Greeting guests with a warm, easygoing attitude
Seating with common sense — fitting in walk‑ins, adjusting on the fly(important)
Handling last‑minute reservations
Managing no‑shows and keeping the room full
Answering phones and helping with takeout orders
Keeping the front area tidy and inviting
You’ll do great here if you:
Stay calm when it gets busy
Can think ahead and seat smart
Communicate well with servers and the kitchen
Are reliable, friendly, and good with people
Are available on weekends
