The senior production tech will install, waterproof and/or repair sheet metal, flashings, drains, gutters, and all related roof components and coordinate with management.
Position Details:
- Pre-plan for daily activities, materials/equipment needed
- Communicate production schedule with Management, GCs and building contacts
- Check safety conditions on job site and follow company and OSHA safety guidelines
- Inspect work of others and ensure company standards are met on every project
- Ensure proper care of tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Maintain a clean job site
- Train new or inexperienced roofers
- Climb ladders; not afraid of heights; work at heights
- Operate hand/electric/power tools
Qualifications/Requirements:
- English literacy
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Knowledge of building codes
- Have a current valid driver's license with less than 6 points, no history of DUI or reckless/careless driving, and be able to be included on company’s auto insurance
- Have balance, stamina, strength and ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
