The position is Monday-Thursday, 12 hours per day, 8:30 AM until 8:30 PM
Westside of Jacksonville, home health care for elderly 88 year old man. Approximately one mile past Cecil Field off Normandy Blvd.
The care is for someone who is basically bedridden and under hospice care. He is approximately 5' 10" tall and weighs 225 lbs.
MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH A BATTERY POWERED HOYER LIFT to get him out of bed daily and into his wheelchair for meals and exercise therapy, and then into his lift-chair. Includes taking him outside for short strolls on the sidewalk in the wheelchair.
It is a 12 hour shift from 8:30 AM until 8:30 PM, Monday-Thursday.
This is a private home with straight pay of $18 per hour.
The daily routine includes giving medication, preparing breakfast and light meals, diaper changes, bathing, and light housework as it pertains to the patient such as cleaning the kitchen after use, keeping the area of the house used clean, folding the patients laundry and more. It includes total and complete care of the patient.
