Looking for a licensed plumber to replace an Orangeburg sewer lateral with new PVC, from the house to the city stub, at a single-family home in Jacksonville, AR (Greenway Ct area).
Pay: $4,000 fixed price for the complete job.
Requirements:
1. Must be a licensed Arkansas plumber and carry liability insurance. Please send your license number with your reply.
2. Must pull the permit, and the work must meet City of Jacksonville and Arkansas plumbing code.
3. Must pass inspection by the City of Jacksonville / JWWU.
4. Must sign a short written agreement covering scope, price, payment stages, and start date, and provide a lien waiver at final payment.
Payment (in stages, by check or card):
1. Materials, up to $800: paid once the permit is issued in your name and materials are delivered to the site, either paid directly to the supplier or reimbursed against receipts.
2. Progress, $1,200: paid once the new line is installed and the inspection is scheduled.
3. Final, $2,000: paid after the work passes city/JWWU inspection and is approved, with the trench backfilled.
Scope:
The city stub is 4–5 ft deep in the back-right corner of the lot, per Jacksonville Wastewater Utility. I have the JWWU map and the as-built drawing to share. The job needs a permit and a JWWU inspection.
The home is tenant-occupied, so any site visit needs a set arrival time.
