We design and build romantic engagement proposal setups across New Jersey, and we're looking for a reliable extra set of hands to help bring them to life. This is a freelance, per-job role, perfect for someone who loves events and has a sharp eye for detail.
What you'll do:
- Transport decor and equipment to and from venues
- Help set up and break down proposal scenes: florals, arches, candles, signage, and more
- Make sure every last detail is picture-perfect before the big moment
What you need:
- Your own SUV or minivan (required - you'll be hauling decor)
- A genuine eye for events: you notice when something's an inch off and fix it
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure - proposals can't be redone
- Flexible availability - most jobs come up on short notice, so being able to say yes last-minute is key
- Applicants based in New York or New Jersey are welcome, ideally between Brooklyn and Jackson.
Pay: $25-30/hr to start
