I have worked for the past 5-6 years for myself running a 90% online store selling a variety of items both new & used across several different platforms. I say 90% online bc occasionally i would meet people in person to sell them items. I had a partner who would go out & get the stuff for me to sell & i would go thru it & decide on what to do with everything. But he recently passed away & i am looking for someone who might need help with their online business. I researched each item, i took clear photos of each item, i determined the pricing for each item and whether or not each item was in high demand. I communicated with potential buyers & i usually listed each item on anywhere from 4-5 different selling platforms. Whenever i sold an item, i carefully packaged it & shipped it to the buyer & removed the listing from the other platforms. I kept an updated physical account of inventory & where each item was located using boxes labeled with letters or numbers or both. In this book with the inventory i also kept information for each buyer such as thier name, address, platform they used & their screen name associated with that platform, the item they purchased the amount they paid for the item the date they bought it any taxes or fees i had to pay out & the final amount that i made off the item as well as a short description if the item.
