I’m looking for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom rental for myself and my three children. I’m hoping to find a landlord who may be willing to work with me on the application requirements or move-in costs given my current circumstances. My husband and I recently purchased a home together, but shortly afterward he decided he wanted to separate. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the mortgage on my own and am now trying to find stable housing for myself and my three children without having to uproot them more than necessary when the house sells. He had family to fall back on, fully knowing I have no one that could offer us assistance. I work full-time and have a steady income, but my finances are currently very tight due to the circumstances surrounding the separation and the recent home purchase. I am doing everything I can to get back on stable financial footing and provide a consistent home for my children. I’m looking for a 3BR/2BA, preferably in a safe and family-friendly area. I’m open to discussing reasonable rent, a security deposit arrangement, or other options with a landlord who is willing to consider my situation rather than automatically disqualify me based on income or circumstances. I’m responsible, clean, respectful of property, and willing to provide proof of employment/income and references. I’m not looking for anything fancy. Just a safe, stable place for my children while we work through this transition.
