Mac Expedite Dispatch is looking for experienced, dependable cargo van and Sprinter van owner-operators to join our growing expedited freight operation.
We've been in the expedite industry since 2017 and understand what matters most to owner-operators: **consistent freight, reliable dispatching, straightforward communication, and getting paid on time.**
We are looking for drivers who understand the expedite industry, are serious about staying on the road, and want to build a long-term working relationship with an established company.
## PAY & FREIGHT OPPORTUNITIES
- **Average weekly take-home: $2,000–$3,000 after our company split** (before the owner's operating expenses and taxes)
- **83% to the owner-operator / 17% company**
- **Direct deposit EVERY FRIDAY**
- Typically **3–5 loads per week**, varying in distance
- Approximately **3,000–4,000 loaded miles weekly on average**
- Freight throughout the lower 48, excluding the Pacific Northwest and NYC
- Solo drivers and teams welcome
- Dispatching and freight booking handled by our team

## HOME TIME & OPERATING EXPECTATIONS
**THIS IS A TRUE OVER-THE-ROAD (OTR) OPPORTUNITY.**
Drivers must be willing to stay on the road for a **minimum of 2–3 weeks at a time**.
Most of our drivers typically spend 4–7 days at home between trips before heading back out.
**We do not offer local or regional positions.**
Expedited freight requires flexibility. Loads can take you anywhere within our operating area, and drivers must be willing to follow freight opportunities rather than request specific destinations.
Our goal is to keep our owner-operators moving consistently. While we secure freight for our drivers on most days, occasional downtime is a normal part of the expedite industry.
## HOW OUR DISPATCH WORKS
- We book freight under our own motor carrier authority.
- We operate on an **exclusive-use, exclusive-dispatch basis**.
- Outside dispatchers and freight-booking apps are not permitted.
- We operate with a forced-dispatch model: drivers are expected to complete loads secured and committed to by our dispatch team.
- Drivers must maintain communication, meet pickup and delivery appointments, and operate professionally.
We are looking for owner-operators who understand that successful expediting requires availability, flexibility, and reliability.
## OWNER-OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS
- **MUST OWN YOUR OWN VAN — 2014 OR NEWER**
- Minimum **$300k Commercial auto liability insurance**
- Minimum **$100,000 motor truck cargo insurance**
- Willingness to operate OTR for 2–3 weeks minimum
- Experience in expedited freight strongly preferred
- Reliable communication and professional attitude
- Ability to operate throughout our service area
- Must be willing to work exclusively with Mac Expedite Dispatch
**1099 OWNER-OPERATOR OPPORTUNITY**
No signup fees. Independent owner-operators operate their own equipment while working with our dispatch team under our carrier authority.
