This is an extra Dell Universal Receiver that was in a PC I bought, and they told me the keyboard and mouse were gone so keep it. )I did offer to return it). I tested it with some Dell parts I had, as you can see in the pics.

This works with most Dell wireless keyboards and mice, similar to Logitech they have a utility called, strangely enough, the Dell Universal Receiver Control Panel. This lets you mate the receiver to even multiple Dell branded keyboards and mice.

The very early Dell wireless keyboards and mice were actually Logitech and can be run off their universal receivers with the orange asterisk.
