Delightful helmet shaped scuttle with wonderful warm hues Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Copper bucket shows rich colour Crown shaped charm at joint Rolled handle with porcelain highlights in hand painted in blue and white. clasped by crown shaped brackets with rivet bonding to main body Shaped handle to rear with rounded porcelain pull in blue and white Raised on a tiered circular base This is an an attractive antique helmet scuttle, with rich copper hues to enhance the fire place in any home and suitable for all fuel types Ready for the warmth of the fireside Popular in the Victorian and Edwardian Arts and Crafts period
This copper vessel is sculptural and has a splendid age-related chocolate colour.
