Inventory Details:
Species: White Oak and Hard Maple
Thickness: 1.5 inches to 2.5 inches (Solid 6/4, 8/4, and 9/4 stock)
Lengths: Varying from 3 feet up to 8.5 feet
Widths: Ranging from 12 inches up to 18 inches (Several extra-wide slabs)
Moisture Content: Sitting consistently between 10% and 12% (Equilibrium Moisture Content for the Midwest). Ready for outdoor/barn projects, or ready to be brought indoors/kiln-finished for fine furniture.
Storage & Quality:
Every single board has been properly stacked and stickered for maximum airflow. The end grains were immediately painted and sealed post-milling to minimize checking and splitting. The faces are clean with beautiful live edges and fantastic grain patterns.
Pricing:
Individual Slabs: Priced by the board foot based on size ($6.00/bd ft for Maple | $8.00/bd ft for White Oak).
Bulk Discount: Willing to take a serious discount if you want to purchase the entire lot (~800–1,100 board feet total). Shoot me an offer for the stack.
Logistics:
Located in Lake County, IL. Cash only, pickup preferred. However, I have a truck and can negotiate local delivery for an additional fee if you take a large order or the whole lot.
