A simple-to-use portable sewing machine. It was serviced last month. Everything works fine. The Singer 99 is a 3/4 size machine...same as a Singer 128 & Singer Spartan. It's bigger than a Featherweight & smaller than a full size machine. The serial number dates it to October 22, 1925, which makes it 101 years old. Comes in the traditional wood box. So pretty. This is a fully-functioning sewing machine. It makes the most perfect straight stitch. This is an excellent sewing machine for teaching children to sew...it's capable of slow, precise stitching (useful on curves) & speedy straight line stitching. Presser foot pressure adjusts--useful when sewing thick fabric & very lightweight fabric. Copy of instruction manual included. Extra bobbins included. Very clean, inside & outside.

One hour sewing lesson, at time of purchase, included. Or porch pickup. Your choice.
