A simple-to-use serger. It was serviced last month...cleaned, oiled, & tested. Everything works fine. Differential feature allows you to gather fabric & serge tricky fabrics containing Lycra (such as lingerie, swimsuit, & stretchy yoga pants). Stitches include: 4 thread safety stitch, 3 thread wide overlock, 3 thread narrow overlock, standard rolled hem, upper looper thread wrapped rolled hem, decorative flatlock, & blind hem. My favorite feature is the free-arm...just like a sewing machine free-arm—which makes hems SO easy. Few serger brands have this feature. Stitch length is adjustable--useful when you're covering the edge with a shiny rayon or metallic thread. Stitch width is adjustable too. Presser foot pressure is adjustable--useful when sewing thick fabric & very lightweight fabric. Uses either serger thread or regular sewing thread. Copy of instruction manual included. Very clean, inside & outside. Model 354
