Dark Egger/Marans Chicks + More - $4 (Indianapolis)

Our dark eggers come from a multigenerational backcross olive egger hen who didn’t inherit the blue gene so she lays super dark brown like a Marans! She was bred back to a Marans rooster to help retain the dark egg genes in her offspring. Her eggs typically carry a heavier bloom than our Marans as well.
There are a few purebred Marans in the batch as well but most of them I will not be able to tell apart from the Marans. The batch was about 50/50.
Chicks are $4 each or 3 for $10. I do include one or two freebie babies a lot of the time as well as larger discounts the more you buy.
This is my last batch of chicks for the year. I will also not have any hatching eggs again until at least March/April when pens are split up again and we are past the pullet egg phase.
We will have a few cockerels and hens for sale after all of these chicks are sold. An individual post will be made at that time with pictures and information on the girls. Price will be $5-20 per bird depending on age, breed, gender, and quality.
The girls that will likely be up for grabs are the dark egger hen, an olive egger that lays cream eggs, an olive egger that lays green eggs and potentially more but these are the only confirmed girls.
We do accept trades. Would trade for feed barrels with removable lids, heated food bowls, feeders, larger waterers, other chicks/eggs depending on the breed, female quail or rare males, nesting boxes, smaller coops, etc. Mostly pet supplies.
