About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, licensed Master Plumber to help build and grow a residential plumbing division.
This hands-on role combines residential plumbing service, estimating, sales, and job management. You will work directly with homeowners, recommend solutions, and manage projects from the initial service call through completion. This is an opportunity for a motivated plumber who enjoys working independently and wants to help shape a growing division.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose residential plumbing problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Prepare estimates and explain pricing, repair options, and project scope to homeowners.
• Sell and perform residential plumbing repairs and installations.
• Manage jobs from the initial service call through completion, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
• Ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes and licensing requirements.
• Identify additional plumbing and contracting needs and communicate available solutions to customers.
• Help establish efficient service procedures and workflows as the plumbing division grows.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite.
Qualifications
• Active Master Plumber license.
• Experience in residential plumbing service, repairs, and installations.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to estimate work accurately and confidently present options to customers.
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage jobs from start to finish.
• Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and licensing requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
Compensation
• Base salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually.
• Commission: 10% of gross profit on personally sold jobs with a total value greater than $7,500.
• Potential total annual compensation: $80,000–$160,000 based on sales and job profitability; earnings are not guaranteed.
