About Us
Wandering in Time Production and Development is seeking a dependable, experienced construction worker to support property development and daily operations in Independence, Oregon. This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing project alongside a dedicated, collaborative team and the possibility of a management role based on performance.
About the Role
This position involves a variety of construction, renovation, and property-improvement projects. Work may include building and repairing structures, assisting with demolition, installing fencing, and preparing work areas. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, follows through on assignments, and adapts as project needs change.
Responsibilities
Perform general construction, carpentry, concrete work, repairs, property improvements, finish work and light plumbing work.
Assist with demolition, site preparation, and jobsite clean-up.
Measure, cut, and install materials accurately.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and supplies.
Communicate project progress, material needs, and any issues that arise.
Follow safety procedures and maintain organized work areas.
Assist with general property maintenance and other site work as needed.
Reliable transportation and the ability to show up on time consistently.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, finish work, concrete, plumbing or a related trade.
Ability to take measurements accurately and follow project instructions and read drawings.
Familiarity with common construction tools, materials, and methods.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Dependability and the ability to work independently while coordinating with a team.
Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and carrying materials, bending, and standing for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Experience with ag or equipment operation is a plus.
OSHA comprehension and/or ability to get certificates.
