Made exclusively of best grade Michigan Maple, the True Series amplifies the wood’s character and creates a pure tone and resonance true to its species.
Maple wood is desirable for drum shells because it offers a well-balanced sound with a good mix of brightness and warmth, making it versatile for various musical genres like jazz, rock, and pop; it produces even tones across the frequency spectrum, with a slightly warmer low-end, and is considered easy to tune and manipulate to achieve the desired sound.
