Industrial United States Electrical Tool Co. model 500 2 HP, 220V, 1800 RPM pedestal grinder. This works perfectly with the grinder portion being in excellent shape as it was cleaned up and nicely painted within the last year. The ID plate was removed for painting and then misplaced which is why it is not installed.
This uses up to 12" wheels. The left wheel is very nice and about 11" in diameter while the right one is smaller and cupped on the right side as shown. The motor starter box is an Allen Bradley. At one time this had Baldor GA9 lighted shields on it so the outer wheel covers are already drilled to add those brackets.
The pedestal is also damage free and in very nice shape yet ought to be cleaned up and painted to match the grinder. It has a nice quench cup, shelf, spark arresters, and tool rests. The right rest appears original while the left one's round post does not match the other side as seen in pictures 15, 17, and 18. I estimate the entire setup weighs about 300 pounds.
