We're an established e-commerce brand with a large YouTube audience, specializing in Japanese-inspired swords, katanas, collectibles, and related merchandise.
We're looking for an outgoing, engaging, and enthusiastic Whatnot Livestreamer / Content Creator for an on-site, part-time opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who is confident on camera, enjoys interacting with live audiences, and knows how to keep viewers entertained and engaged.
As our Livestreamer, you'll host live selling sessions on Whatnot, showcase products, interact with viewers, and help create an entertaining and interactive shopping experience.
Previous experience with Whatnot or other livestreaming platforms is highly preferred, but we're also open to enthusiastic candidates with strong on-camera personalities who are eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Host engaging live selling sessions on Whatnot.
Showcase and demonstrate swords, katanas, and other collectibles in an informative and entertaining way.
Interact with viewers in real time, answer questions, and encourage purchases.
Build audience engagement and create an enjoyable livestream shopping experience.
Prepare and organize products before each streaming session.
Coordinate remotely with the company on product information, promotions, and upcoming livestreams.
Assist with basic streaming setup and equipment as needed.
Help improve livestream engagement and overall sales performance.
Qualifications
Comfortable and confident speaking on camera.
Outgoing, engaging personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to engage viewers naturally and present products enthusiastically.
Comfortable presenting and discussing swords, katanas, and collectibles.
Reliable, punctual, and organized.
Must be based in Huntsville, Alabama, or within reasonable commuting distance.
Must be available to work on-site.
Highly Preferred
Previous experience with Whatnot, particularly hosting livestreams or selling products.
Experience in livestreaming, content creation, live selling, auctions, or online marketplaces.
Familiarity with livestreaming equipment and platforms.
Interest in collectibles, pop culture, or Japanese-inspired merchandise.
We welcome applicants with backgrounds in content creation, entertainment, retail, or sales who are comfortable engaging with audiences on camera.
Compensation & Schedule
$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Potential additional sales-based incentives.
Part-time hours based on streaming schedules.
On-site position in Huntsville, Alabama.
