1981 Telstar 8M Folding Trimaran – Trailer Included – Estate Sale
This 1981 Performance Cruising Telstar 8M folding trimaran is being sold as part of an estate. The proceeds from the sale will go toward the owner’s mother’s retirement care.
The boat has been stored indoors in a pole barn for approximately 10–15 years and has been well preserved. It appears to be a very complete boat, including the mast, rudder, sails, interior cushions, and trailer.
According to the owner:
* No known history of leaks
* Never sunk
* Last sailed approximately 10+ years ago
* Last used seasonally at Salamonie Lake
* Centerboard was operating normally the last time it was on the water
* No known missing components
The trailer has also been stored indoors for the same period. Because it has not been moved in over 10 years, the tires and trailer wiring should be inspected before towing.
This boat has not been recommissioned or water-tested since being removed from the lake and is being sold as-is. Buyers are welcome and encouraged to inspect it thoroughly.
Clean Indiana title in hand.
If you’re looking for a classic, trailerable trimaran with plenty of potential, this is a great opportunity.
