SamMi Sandwiches is a growing Vietnamese bánh mì business in Houston, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking, and positive person to join our team.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with food, works well with others, and takes pride in doing things the right way. Restaurant experience is helpful, but not required — we're happy to train the right person.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare ingredients and food for our Vietnamese bánh mì sandwiches
Assemble sandwiches and customer orders
Help with kitchen prep, cleaning, and organization
Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
Help load, unload, set up, and break down equipment for pop-ups and catering events
Serve customers at farmers markets, pop-ups, catering events, and other SamMi events when needed
Help maintain SamMi's standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service

REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old
Reliable transportation
Texas Food Handler Card or willingness to obtain one
Able to stand for extended periods
Able to perform normal kitchen and event setup duties, including lifting and carrying supplies
Availability for scheduled kitchen shifts and occasional pop-ups/catering events
SCHEDULE
This is a part-time position. Hours may include kitchen prep, weekday lunch service, farmers markets, pop-ups, and catering events.
Typical shifts: 4hrs to 8hrs
Expected hours per week: 15hrs to 30hrs
PAY
Starting Pay: $12.00/hour
