This early example retains several classic first-generation details, including the Domes of Silence glides, original tilt mechanism, and three screws beneath each arm.
For its age and generation, the chair remains in very good overall condition. There is a small leather repair on each arm, which is not noticeable when seated. The upper shell has approximately four to five small chips along with a few light surface scratches, consistent with its age and history.
