NOTE TO BIDDERS:
I have already purchased all brand-new parts for this complete overhaul and will provide them to the mechanic. Parts included:
• A/C Compressor with Clutch & Condenser (with built-in Drier)
• A/C Evaporator Core & HVAC Heater Core
• A/C Expansion Valve & Discharge Line Hose Assembly
• 3 Cans of R134a Freon, PAG 46 Oil, and a Cabin Air Filter Kit
NOTE: Please bring new high/low side Schrader service valves with you.
The system loses freon within a month and the compressor is knocking. Since you will be pulling the dashboard to replace the evaporator and heater core, I expect a combined labor quote for the entire job.
Labor must include a complete A/C system flush (to clear old oil/debris before installing new parts), vacuum test, and final recharge using my freon cans. Truck has a CP4 bypass kit installed in the engine bay.
