Anthem Transport, A Houston based family owned company is seeking experienced port truck drivers for local drayage work in the Houston area. We are growing and are seeking reliable drivers who are willing to show up and get the job done safely and on time. You help us in good times and we stay with you in slow times through a a guaranteed 40 hours of pay for drivers with consistence daily attendance.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Follow all DOT, state, and local traffic regulations.
- Pick up and deliver containers from the Port of Houston to local destinations.
- Communicate with dispatch & upload all paperwork in timely manner
- Properly secure all loads to maintain safety and prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and logs as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
- Keep trucks clean, safe, and report maintenance needs promptly.
Class A CDL with minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience
TWIC Card
Medical Card
No DUI/DWI in last 5 years or more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
Consistent Daily Attendence
Port/Rail terminal experience REQUIRED
Willingness to go on occasional overnight trips for delivery - EXTRA PAY
