Buildots (Genda) is an AI construction technology company that partners with leading general contractors across the U.S. to improve on-site execution through real-time data and digital tracking of construction progress.
We are hiring a part-time Construction Field Hardware Installer in Houston, TX to install our on-site Bluetooth sensors at an active large-scale construction project. You will work closely with our remote operations team.
About the Role:
-Type: 1099 contract
-Time: ~1-2 installations/week (1-2 hrs each/minimum 4 hours of pay)
-Duration: Long-term project, ongoing installs over several months
-Location: On-site, Houston, TX
-Training: Paid virtual training (1 hour)
-Start Date: First installation expected 10/26/2026.
-Pay: $30/hour, minimum 4 hours of pay per visit ($120 per visit), paid twice a month via Deel platform
Responsibilities:
-Install Bluetooth sensors on the deck before concrete pours (no wiring or drilling)
-Place sensors according to the blueprint plans
-Follow simple installation instructions to activate beacons
-Coordinate with Buildots teams and the construction site team for scheduling and support (pour dates may shift, so staying in touch with the site team is important)
Requirements:
-Attach your CV/short brief about your experience
-Experience with reading blueprints
-Able to access active construction sites (site safety orientation required)
-Comfortable with basic tools (e.g. hammer, nail gun) and working at height on decks and ladders
-Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
-Tech comfort level (apps, phone sync, etc.) - a must
-Background in construction - a must
-OSHA 10 or 30 - advantage
-Experience working with clients directly - advantage
