I am selling my Mercedes S-Class, I am the second owner. About two years ago I got hit by a disabled driver who failed to yield.
The accident caused the horn to stop working, also for whatever reason it caused the engine fan to engage constantly when the car is on, also I could smell freon leaking so the AC compressor stopped working right when the accident happened.
It runs and drives, still drives in a straight line. The air suspension works as it should, you press the button on the dash and the vehicle goes up and down. It has two new tires on the back and a new interstate brand battery. It has two keys.
Despite there being an accident, the driver and I decided not to report it. There is no accident on the carfax report.
It does have a check engine light that comes and goes, I thought it was the oxygen sensor I tried replacing it myself but it didnt solve the issue. I am also getting an alert on the instrument cluster for worn brake pads.
Aside from the damage on the front of the car it really is in good shape inside and out, the interior is nearly immaculate, ware is visible on the center armrest, and I did damage the passenger side mirror. There is zero rust. It has been garage kept with the cover on since the accident. Ive driven it a couple of times at night since the accident, still drives like it should. It only has around 75,000 miles on it, it has plenty of life left.
Only serious inquires please.
