My housing needs and request is a little different.
Just after relocating here I had a set back called a Thyroid Storm which is a rare ICU medical emergency and I was put in a coma for almost 2 weeks to stabilize me. Prior to all that I befriending a fella who took me in after discharge because I knew nobody here. And I was and still am grateful and he knows it.
Him and I do not have issues but his gambling problem and I do. Stress is #1 enemy for me until we find my correct combination of hormones to replace my thyroid with. Not knowing month to month if there's a roof over my head, electric for my nebulizer or oxygen machine, ECT (due to him gambling rent away) is too much unnecessary stress and is hindering my recovery my doctor and I agree on. Kind of a catch 22 for me.
But because I'm still unable to work yet makes it almost impossible it seems (the system can take upto a year or more for placement) to find other temporary housing options with being limited to what I able to offer in return (light duty assistance of upkeep cleaning and such with no weird stuff or bs) I can buy my own or house food, I keep to myself mostly but easy going, have minimal friends so no visitors much, animal lover, no record, 420 supporter, non drinker. I'm just needing a place to stay (I'm thinking 6 months or less) to get better and back on my feet. Oh I'm a older female, no kids or pets if that should matter.
