Hi there, married white couple here, mid 50s, college educated. Our home is being fixed up, and the insurance company gave us some money to find temp housing for 2 - 4 weeks. The wife said she's going to go visit friends, so it may just be me. We have no pets (they are in the kennel for that time), kids are grown and moved out, and we don't need much. Before I start looking at hotels, I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has a place they'd be willing to rent to us short term. I work 12hr shifts near bwi and really only need a place to sleep, cook/eat, and do laundry on the weekends. We are easy going, clean, and personable. I fix anything i can around the house and car, if that helps. You may also find yourself on the receiving end of my sourdough bread. I usually bake 1 - 2 loaves every weekend. (We haven't bought any bread in some 2 years)
We are ok with you having pets, that's no problem. Well, maybe we draw the line at snakes :-)
Oh, and we were told we would have to be out of our house on 9/21, and stay out for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 to 4.
