Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
Keep line stocked and have adaquate prep skills
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, stoves, ovens, and food prep tools
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication during busy service times
Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and following safety protocols at all times
Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence
Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
Proven ability to follow safety standards in production and maintain high levels of food safety management
Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house
