Brand new. Only opened to"burn in" for optimal sound quality by use static/pink noise overnight, letting them rest during the day. I bought it for my sister but she already bought one. Audiophile headphone. Do a little google search and did headphone will last you forever. Bought it for $400 including tax. Comes with case I bought separately and original box.
