We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Security Officer to join our condominium community team.
The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, staff, and vendors.
Position Responsibilities;
Patrol the property and monitor common areas, entrances, and parking facilities.
Control access to the building and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization.
Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and resident concerns.
Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
Prepare accurate incident, activity, and shift reports.
Enforce condominium policies and safety procedures.
Assist residents and guests with security-related inquiries.
Coordinate with emergency responders, management, and law enforcement when necessary.
Conduct routine inspections to identify safety or security concerns.
Qualifications;
Previous security, law enforcement, military, hotel, residential, or customer service experience preferred.
Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency and report-writing ability.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
Valid security guard license
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements;
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to climb stairs and patrol multiple areas of the property.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
