DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
This is a real authentic kaleidoscope! Classy with a beautiful double prism inside not just a single prism like most. For those not familiar with genuine kaleidoscopes, this is NOT a kids toy! It is a special novelty piece made for adults and must be handled with care as it contains many small glass mirrors inside. The two color wheels are made with colorful glass gemstones. Also comes with a third (extra) wheel made of cut stone (agate) and when attached, it gives the colors darker, richer hues. When the color wheel(s) are turned while viewing inside, it shows two beautiful prism bursts of interchanging colors. Photos show what the prisms look like inside with their many changing colors. Best when viewed in a well lit room. The kaleidoscope can also be removed from the stand (see photo) and held up to the light or even viewed outdoors for brighter more brilliant colors. The outside housing of the kaleidoscope and the stand are made of wood.
