Looking for a full-time Forklift Operator to who works well in a fast-paced warehouse team environment, is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and efficiently multi-tasks to ensure timely completion of job duties.
Hours: Monday through Friday - varied start times from 6:00am; weekends as necessary; non-exempt
Overtime: Usual and required
Essential Duties:
•Load, unload, sort, palletize, shrink-wrap, and move freight manually or using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete and audit manifests, delivery receipts, freight labels, movement records, and exception documentation accurately.
• Assist with truck loading / unloading, will call pick-ups, and customer deliveries, including freight tracking, placement, and down-stacking.
• Support drivers by spotting vehicles and helping maintain safe traffic and pedestrian movement at docks and delivery locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment and complete end-of-day facility, equipment, and security procedures.
• Track equipment inventory, support coworkers, assist with training, and help the team meet daily operational goals.
• Follow supervisor instructions, perform assigned manual labor, and wear the required uniform and personal protective equipment.
• Follow all safety policies; report hazards, incidents, and injuries promptly; and contribute to a safe workplace.
Qualifications: Required (R) or Preferred (P)
• Minimum 2 years related business experience: (R)
• High school diploma or equivalent: (R)
• Fluency in English (oral and written): (R)
• Effective oral and written communication: (R)
• Forklift and electric pallet jack certified: (R)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.: (R)
• Excellent attendance and dependability: (P)
