As time goes by the rubber part of the mounts get flatter and flatter to the point where your engine is sitting on the metal base of the mounts and the vibration of the engine is transferring to the chassis.
Your transmission mounts get flat too.
If your car vibrates at idle, your engine mounts are worn. I can even install them for you for much less than a shop.
These are Corteco and febi brand. Same as the original ones that BMW uses. My price is half of retail
