Dean & DeLuca Hawaii is looking for an experienced, motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our Royal Hawaiian Center and Ritz-Carlton Waikiki Beach locations.

POSITION: ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager and leadership team to oversee daily store operations, support and develop employees, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist with the daily operations of the store
Lead, coach, and support Front of House associates and other team members
Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming guest experience
Help ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and coverage
Monitor employee performance and provide coaching when needed
Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are followed
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, presentation, and service
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively
Support cash handling, POS operations, and daily sales procedures
Help maintain inventory and merchandise standards
Work collaboratively with the kitchen, merchandising, and management teams
Support special events, promotions, and other operational needs
Lead by example and help create a positive, team-oriented work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in retail, food & beverage, hospitality, or a related industry
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable, responsible, and professional
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with POS systems and handling cash
Passion for food, coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
Bilingual skills are a plus
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift approximately 15–20 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive motions
Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
