ON ISLAND
FULLY OPTIONED!! · 16,000 lb GVWR · 36" Sides · HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
Brand new, never used. Built in the USA by M.H. Eby — all-aluminum frame, floor and sides.
This is the one that's built the way you'd build it if nobody was watching the option sheet. Every box that matters is checked. If you've priced a dump trailer lately you know what the upgrades cost individually — disc brakes, aluminum wheels, wireless control, solar, strobes, tall sides. This one already has all of it.
THE UPGRADE THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS
Electric over hydraulic DISC brakes. Not drums. Come down a grade at 16,000 lbs loaded and you'll feel the difference immediately — no fade, no pumping, no smell at the bottom. Discs shed heat instead of trapping it, they self-adjust, and there's no drum to pull when it's time for service. On a heavy trailer in Hawaii's terrain this is the single best option Eby offers, and most trailers on this island don't have it.
THE BIG STUFF
• 16,000 lb GVWR — dual 8,000 lb axles
• Rubber torsion suspension independent, no leaf springs, smoother ride and easier on the load
• Greased hubs
• 82" bed with 36" extruded aluminum sides — roughly 12 cubic yards struck
• 215/75R17.5 load range H tires on ALUMINUM wheels, plus a matching aluminum-wheel spare
DUMP CONTROL — WIRED AND WIRELESS
• 3-stage telescopic hoist with 12V hydraulic pump
• Both a wired remote and a wireless controller. Dump from the cab, dump from the ground, dump from wherever you can actually see the load. Nobody standing in the wrong place.
• Barn doors with 2-way spreader gate — swing them wide to drop a pile or drive equipment on, or crack the spreader and lay material down evenly as you roll
• (2) 75" x 16" pull-out ramps — walk a mini ex, skid steer or walk-behind straight into the bed
THE OPTIONS PEOPLE WISH THEY'D ORDERED
• Solar battery charger — park it in the yard for three weeks and it still dumps on the first try. If you've ever jumped a dump trailer at 6 AM on a Monday you understand exactly why this matters.
• 5-amp waterproof onboard charger as well
• LED strobe lights — roadside, jobsite, backing into traffic. Municipal and utility work often requires them.
• Black pull-tarp — cover the load, stay legal, keep debris off the guy behind you
• Lockable A-frame toolbox housing pump, battery and charger
• Side crank jack with drop leg
• Red and white decal package
WHAT THE 36" SIDES ARE FOR
Straight talk: at 16,000 GVWR you weigh out before you cube out on anything dense — about 4 yards of gravel maxes the payload no matter how tall the walls are. The tall sides earn their money on light bulky material: mulch, green waste, tree trimmings, demo debris, cardboard, scrap, roofing tear-off. If that's most of your work, 12 yards a trip instead of 8 is a whole extra load you're not driving. If you haul rock all day, ask me about the 24"-side unit instead — I'd rather sell you the right trailer.
WHY ALUMINUM
Around 4,000 lbs empty, roughly 12,000 lb payload — 800+ lbs lighter than a comparable steel dump, which is payload you get back on every single load. And in Hawaii salt air, steel is on a countdown clock from the day you buy it. Aluminum isn't. No rust, no repaint, no rotted floor, and it holds resale better than anything else in the class. Certified weight ticket available on request.
Available for inspection on Oahu. Financing available
Business purchases welcome — full manufacturer spec sheet and MSO available.
Aluminum doesn't rust. In Hawaii that's not a nice-to-have — it's the whole ballgame. Message for price and to schedule a look.
