Sales Associate/Shop Assistant (Part-Time) - Honoka'a, Hawai'i:We are looking for a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and the ability to assist customers in finding the perfect products. Someone who is able to complete daily tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
Duties:
-Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism
-Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
-Manage stock levels through stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to attract customer attention
-Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and cashiering duties with integrity
-Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive store atmosphere
-Support inventory management by performing stock checks, organizing back-stock areas, and assisting with stock replenishment
-Fulfilling Online Orders
-Maintaining store cleanliness
-Work at Pop-Up Events
-Receiving and processing new merchandise.
Requirements
-Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
-Strong communication skills
-Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
-Demonstrated ability to perform cashiering duties including cash handling and cash drawer management with attention to detail
-Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and promotional strategies will enhance your effectiveness in the role
-Must be available on the weekends
