Warehouse Lead/ Supervisor Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Lead/ Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse
operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position requires a hands-on leader who
can work alongside the warehouse team while ensuring that loading, unloading, material handling,
weighing, safety, and workflow are completed efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate has strong warehouse experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to
operate a forklift confidently in tight spaces, and the ability to communicate effectively in
English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and warehouse personnel.
• Lead by example and maintain a productive, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Load and unload trailers, box trucks, and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, including maneuvering safely in tight
or confined areas.
• Weigh incoming and outgoing materials accurately and maintain proper weight records.
• Verify materials, quantities, and shipments against paperwork and shipping/receiving
requirements.
• Organize and stage materials for receiving, storage, and shipment.
• Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse employees, management, and other departments as needed.
• Help train and coach warehouse employees on proper procedures, equipment operation, and safety
practices.
• Assist with resolving day-to-day warehouse issues and keeping operations moving efficiently.
• Monitor inventory and material movement as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Perform other warehouse and supervisory duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a warehouse lead, supervisor, or senior warehouse position.
• Strong experience loading and unloading trailers, box trucks, and containers.
• Proven forklift operating experience, particularly in tight or challenging warehouse areas.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
• Experience weighing materials and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Ability to work independently while also directing and supporting a warehouse team.
• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to take a hands-on approach.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the operation.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment and adapt to changing priorities
