- Pipe Layer should have at least three years’ experience in the installation of water mains, sanitary sewer lines, forcemain, storm drainage pipe
- Install and repair water mains, sewer lines, storm drains, and other utility systems using ductile iron, RCP, PVC, HDPE, or other materials
- Follow blueprints and site plans, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety protocols
- Ensures that job sites and staging areas are kept safe, clean and organized.
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations
- Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 100 pounds and over.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding progress and any issues that arise
Skills/Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of pipe laying experience in the installation of water mains, sanitary sewer lines, forcemain, storm drainage pipe
- Experience in heavy civil construction, underground utility installation for City, County, Private or DOT construction projects
- Ability to lift 100 lbs
-Ability to work 40-50 hours per week, as needed
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required
