Basic residential landscaping upkeep and plant/hedge maintenance
Thorough cleanup and green waste removal after each service visit
POSITION 3: COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LANDSCAPING (LESS THAN 1 ACRE)
Property: Small Commercial / Business Building Property (Hilo Area)
Schedule: Recurring Monthly Maintenance
Pay: Flat Monthly Rate (Negotiable)
Duties Include:
Plant maintenance, hedge trimming, and flowerbed care (Note: Lawn mowing is not required for this property)
Weed control, mulching, and ornamental landscaping upkeep
Hardscape edging and walkway clearing to maintain a clean, professional exterior for clients
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS & BUSINESS EXPECTATIONS
To ensure a successful partnership, all applicants must meet the following baseline requirements:
Equipment: Must possess reliable commercial/field equipment (mowers, heavy-duty weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, trailer/truck, and fuel).
Tax Compliance & Insurance: Must operate as an independent contractor, submit a completed W-9 form, and maintain active general liability insurance prior to commencing work.
Professional Communication: Prompt phone and text responsiveness, along with a brief status update upon job completion, are mandatory.
Dependability: Must adhere to scheduled work dates. Proactive communication is required if weather conditions necessitate rescheduling.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in farm land recovery, residential lawn care, or commercial landscaping in East Hawaii.
