Cedar Chest Measures 41" long x 19" Deep x 26" High. Style No. 527404 Serial No. 266180 Lane. One drawer. Great condition. Serial Number on back of Cedar Chest. The chest was manufactured August 16, 1926. It is about 100 years old. How to tell the date of manufacture is to take the last two numbers in the serial number, reversed tells the month. The middle two numbers reversed, tells the date. The first two numbers are left the same, telling the year. The price of the chest is worth between $300 to $400. Mine was appraised for $315. If you want to know why I think it is worth what I have it priced at, you can do a little research and look it up yourself. It is 100 years old. That is where I got my pricing.
