Gem Dandy Electric Churn Large Jar Only N Mint No Cracks 1940s. Here is a large heavy either 3 or 5 gallon Duraglas jar used as a churn or can be used as a pickle jar. Made by the Alabama Manufacturing Co Birmingham Ala. in the 1940's. This jar is all embossed front and back with a embossed cow on each side. The jar is made to look like a wooden barrel. No cracks just a flea bite at the top. It is 16 inches tall X about 9.5 inches at it's widest point. The jar is almost 10 pounds. This jar has survived over 80 years. No churn, just the jar.
