We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our well-respected, established , Chef owned BYOB restaurant. We take pride in creating an intimate dining experience where everything is made in-house from scratch.
Our kitchen is built on quality, creativity, teamwork, and a shared passion for the restaurant industry. This is more than just a position on the line. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and who we can invest in as a future leader within our kitchen. The Sous Chef will work closely with the owner and Executive Chef in helping operate and maintain a successful, organized, and positive kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
Work the line and help lead service
Assist with daily prep and kitchen organization
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Assist the Executive Chef and owner with developing and executing daily specials
Lead by example and contribute to a positive, respectful kitchen culture
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and proper kitchen procedures
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Help train and support other kitchen team members
Step into a leadership role when needed
Must have a genuine passion for cooking and the restaurant industry. Be reliable and consistent Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and cares about quality, has leadership potential and a desire to continue learning and growing
