Independent Contractor Opportunities – Cargo Van & Sprinter Owner Operators
We are an established, family-owned transportation company operating since 1980, looking to expand our network of reliable independent contractors with their own cargo vans, Sprinter vans, or Ford Transit-style vehicles. *!*Opportunities are coming faster than we can handle.*!*
We have a client that is asking for more, and we need to fill the need! We have several delivery opportunities developing throughout the New York metro area and are looking for *!*!*dependable*!*!* owner-operators interested in building long-term working relationships.
We are looking to establish long-term relationships with experienced operators who are interested in consistent opportunities and additional work as our network grows.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Recurring weekday delivery routes
Morning pickups in the Jericho, NY area. 7:00 am pickup
Deliveries throughout Long Island and the NYC metro area
Residential package deliveries
Geographically organized routes for efficient daily operations
Packages generally weighing approximately 30 lbs
Opportunities for additional routes as our delivery network expands
REQUIREMENTS
Must own or operate a cargo van, Sprinter, Ford Transit, or similar vehicle
Appropriate commercial vehicle insurance
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Previous delivery experience preferred
Ability to handle packages weighing approximately 30 lbs
Smartphone capable of using delivery tracking and proof-of-delivery applications
Reliable, professional, and responsive to dispatch communications
Individual owner-operators and small fleet operators with multiple vehicles are encouraged to respond.
