The Flycam Redking is a budget alternative to the Glidecam Devin Graham Signature Series handheld camera stabilizer.

While earlier Flycam models (like the Flycam 3000/5000 and Flycam HD-3000) were knockoffs of the classic Glidecam HD-2000 / HD-4000, the Redking explicitly copies the design features of the Devin Graham Signature Series, including:

• Micro-balance adjustments: Fine-tuning knobs on the top camera platform (X/Y axis) for balance adjustments.
• Quick-release plate: A sliding dovetail quick-release mounting plate system (compatible with Manfrotto 501 style plates).
• Positional 3-axis gimbal: A position-adjustable gimbal with a quick twist-lock mechanism.

In short, Flycam (manufactured by Proaim) modeled the Redking directly after Glidecam Industries' high-end mechanical stabilizer design to provide a similar feature set at a fraction of the cost.
