We have a connection to grass fed, grain finished red angus beef. We purchased a full steer 3 months ago. We had it processed into 2 lb ground beef packages and into various steaks. The half beef yielded approx. 210 lbs. of ranch raised beef. The price would average 14.50 per lb. between the ground beef and steaks. This is cheaper than any terrible meat purchased at Walmart and Safeway. Also, this meat came from one steer, no mixing between multiple animals like the big grocery chains. The price included the butchering, processing and packaging.
